Stanley was directed by Patrick McMahill. I was brought in as editor during pre-production to help create the mood and tone of the film during production. Being able to cut a performance from an actor like Bill Sage, who gives you so many fantastic options through his work on set, was a privilege I’m very grateful for.
My short film Life After Leukemia was created as part of the 48 Hour Film Project; it was conceived of, written, produced, directed, and edited in just under 48 hours. This little film won Best Film, Acting, Writing, Editing, and Locations at the awards ceremony in Boston, and later went on to screen at the 2005 Cinequest Film Festival, 2005 Boston Comedy and Movie Festival, 2005 New England Film and Video Film Festival, and was released on the 48 Hour Film Projects Best Of 2005 DVD.
